Idk how its on Crunchyroll but i highly recommend watching this ep on Animepahe because of the way they encode the subtitles

I don't know how I would play this on my TV lol
Doesn't hunter x hunter deal with the same s***? I'm sure the fandom will be fine
Tbh I think Gege often overcomplicates the mechanics and rules in JJK. It’s especially noticeable when you compare it to HxH (which clearly inspired it) since Togashi was a master at making complex rules and plotlines come together in a way that still felt natural and easy to follow
The slander for my goat is ridiculous rn LMAO
But he’s going to tear s*** up next chapter, it’s over for the Opp Stoppa

How is JJK power system confusing? It’s deep but nothing is confusing unless your concern is BVs.
You have cursed energy, you awaken a CT whether hereditary or not around 6. You then develop applications to your technique. If gifted you can use positive energy. Then apply it to your ct for Ct reversal. You can have a maximum CT. Develop a barrier technique and innate understanding of self and develop a domain. Then there’s domain counters. Etc. Then there’s heavenly restriction with imbues you with enhanced capabilities due to a lack of something like CE. it’s not that difficult to follow and I’m not one of those that care too much to go learn every detail about a power system

Leaks came out this morning, they’ve been frying my goat like no tomorrow but he about to break the power system next chapter
Making the episode look and feel like loading screens, menus, and tutorials is so damn tuff man
I can’t wait to see what goshozono works on after JJK

The general power system is easy to follow. I think they’re referring to some of the techniques that often come with wordy or unclear explanations when they could’ve been simplified into something much more digestible
I already know there’s some techniques this season that people are gonna be scratching their heads over.
Thankfully almost all the techniques can be easily simplified once you understand it. It’s just that the initial explanations sometimes have too much going on
This isn't something you watch at the end of your day, I'm close to sleeping the exposition dump just keeps going.
I remember dude from back during S1 when Gege did his first live appearance
He’s apparently a comedian too

Hakari's CT explanation dump is gonna go crazy

I agree some techniques are long winded to understand lol but I think since it’s not all the techniques it’s not really a problem More of a problem when it’s a general thing.
Dawned on me on a rewatch how perfectly everything fell into place for Kenjaku. Gojo being the catalyst for why curses became more powerful (touched upon in S2) is why there needed to be a Geto to balance things out. Fate were not kind to these two.

Idk how much of a minority I’m in but I really don’t enjoy Mahoraga and I’m not really thrilled with any of the fights involving it.
The thing has zero personality, zero backstory, the ability isn’t even interesting. There’s very little rhyme or reason as to what kills it and what doesn’t. It just lives and adapts as long as plot necessitates. There’s like two different attacks from Dabu that should’ve ended it but the wheel keeps on spinning. Until now we reach the plot point we needed to get to so it’s okay for Maho to exit. We all know Maho will never actually win a meaningful fight because like I said earlier, it’s hardly even a character. It just wouldn’t be right. I would’ve been much more impressed with this story if maho was summoned and just got immediately obliterated by Dabu. That would at least be surprising and different rather than seeing this same song and dance for a third time.
I digress tho
cannot f***ing wait to see maki cook
Idk why gege got this intrinsic need to overcomplicate everything. Not even exclusive to the culling games rules, every ability in the manga gets contrived explanations when in reality they're not that complex. I remember having to re-read chapters 4 times to understand some of the abilities we'll see later on in the anime, and despite how much i love it, gojo vs sukuna is a prime culprit. Goddamn if you're not wiki deep into how sorcery works you'll struggle to understand a thing, It gets so technical only the nerdiest fans can follow along.
I swear manga like hxh never had this problem. The latest arc in hxh is very complex too, but mainly because of the amount of sideplots happening at the same time and most importantly, the long hiatuses in between.
Even the most complex hxh abilities never had people this perplexed or confused.
And its a shame because gege is good at coming up with cool abilities. Even the culling games are cool as a concept although it ends too soon and the conclusion isnt rewarding
Yuta gang we are back

Mahoraga needs to be obliterated completely by your first attack. Dabura’s first attack didn’t completely destroy him so it spun meaning now it adapted and would have some negation. Even causing him to splatter with the next attack wouldn’t kill him since he’s already adapted. Now he’s completely adapted meaning the attacks have no effect. That’s why Dabura said the atmosphere changed.
The fight is to build on the characters of both Dabura and Maru. Dabura at first didn’t know what it meant to be a warrior being so strong, and disrespected Doula in their duel. That is why Maru was angry. Now Maru understands Dabura, not wanting to hurt his friend but still chooses to be a warrior. Dabura however, now is learning what it means to be a warrior and has to fight all out, which is why he apologized to Mahoraga, because unlike Doula, he will fight with all he has. So now both Maru and Dabura see eye to eye as warriors. That’s deep writing to bring it altogether.
Mahoraga is dying next chapter, but this chapter was about character writing. It’s amazing and also shows Dabura as truly gentle, and needing purpose in fighting, which is for the ones he cares for.
