Kenjaku wanted to create something beyond their imagination. Their domain is named "Womb Profusion". Choso and the brothers were failures. But I think Takaba which they also in a way created for the culling games was that person. I think Yuji would also apply but Kenjaku was dead by then. While the Tengen plan failed I think they reached their real goal.

Sometimes leaving things open creates a great sense of mystery. Sadly I think you can say about the entire series that while the feeling of mystery was very compelling Gege shouldve rewarded the readers a bit more.

Kenjaku is a great example for that. I think the character is awesome and the stitches iconic. But did they hit the full potential and was the message really that compelling? I dunno personally right now. Many readers are saying "hell no". I think we probably know by the time the anime comes out
