Neither of the "big 3" have a character close to Maki

The standards for shounen are LOW for sure.

But jjks biggest flaw is how extra indifferent gege treats the female characters. They are neither special or particularly sexualized. A big part of jjks story is how imbeded sexism and the patriarchy is into the jujutsu society.

Maki was cast out of this world for refusing to "play her role". Its not a shoehorned in femism story because it perfectly aligns with the rest of the outcasts saved by Gojo like Hakari, Kirara, Panda and co.

Im sorry but saying "ohh jjk has terrible female representation and gege is a sexist" is some bullshit you picked up from Twitter and I appreciate if you try to have an ounce of media literacy

I cared the least about Bleach tbf but when I read it I noticed pretty much any girl being suuupper dependent on one guy. Like they are all sexy for sure. But rukia has big brother issues, the blonde chick is only into Ichigo, the cat chic is only into the cool guy with the hat. The toddler looking woman is just that. A toddler doesnt really have an arc. The Kenpachi woman onky cares about Kenpachi.

Yet Maki has arguably the most "solo arcs" besides Gojo and Yuji. There arent many shounen out there that have that. She is pretty much the third in the trio that nobara wasnt. And I think her arc is amazing adds lots of context and info like the twin stuff. Plus its really good an emotional and all but I guess nobody gives af about that anymore
