Exhibition gave answers that people didn’t really want
lowkey wouldn’t mind a Kenjaku Gojo after 5min limit
confirmed?
Gege said he decided around Shibuya to have Nanami to exit the story and went full ahead with it to not betray fans. Then also decided the same for Nobara. He is committed to making a dark story he advised.
Nobara gone gone
Is an interview going around or editor notes that these sound like updates?

Well Nobara was a fridge character lol. Lame as hell sendoff for her and her back story s\*\*\* was not all that for an emotional send off.
Plus Gojo a d\*\*\* for not remembering his pupil in the afterlife :smith:

sry but this type of "dark story" aspect of his storytelling is just annoying/boring at this point. Basically a JJK trope. At this point I have issues reminding myself who is alive and who is dead.
only hoping for him to bring the story to an overall satisfying close.

Totally don’t agree but ok

Tbh I rlly like the manga, but what prevents JJK from being truly great is the fact that several characters lack depth in their writing. Yes, the action moments are very good, but a greater focus on characterization would really benefit the story.

He’s aware of it too with the comment that he didn’t properly explore Megumi’s step sister’s character further.
For some reason I don’t feel like his Nobara comment was final but could be me coping but her status in manga is still shown as open ended. We’ll see though.
Idk how but JJK discourse has somehow made it to my TL again.
Someone wrote how Gege killing Nobara off is bad writing (I agree, the character had minimal screentime and the execution and sendoff felt like Gege was compensating for the fact that he paid almost no attention to her character before her death) but bringing Nobara back after 150+ chapters without her and towards the end of the series would be even worse writing.
The room to develop her character was gone a long time ago and people need to let that s*** go. We don't need another AoT Mikasa situation, bringing Nobara and revealing that Resonance is actually really effective aginst Sukuna would just insult her character even further.
She was already an underdeveloped character, no need to degrade her into just being a tool

Wym by the Mikasa comparison
Kinda agree though she should’ve came back during early culling games if anything
Isn't Kenjaku's power essentially a brain transplant? I guess Kenjaku has the memories of the hosts he inhabits, but I didn't really notice how that doesn't make since that a new brain is taking in someone's old memories until Yuta mentioned it. Unless it's some tie in of cursed energy holding memories of the body.

Hope this doesn't start a debate but I thought that Mikasa was a poorly written character. Her defining traits were that she was strong and other than that she was just overly reliant/a love interest for the MC and also had minimal interactions with the rest of the cast. I wasn't a fan of how she was ignored for the entirety of the story and then suddenly just becomes important right at the end as if that makes up for the lack of attention her character was given

Hmm
I don’t think Mikasa was necessarily unimportant nor ignored throughout the series, I just wish her story wasn’t so Eren-centric. To that same point, the fact that she WAS I do agree she needed a bigger role (which I thought was her as Ymir, I like to see it still as Ymir IS Mikasa rather than them 2 being separate). I get what you are saying but in the case of Nobara she never really had any importance. She was just a main side character while Mikasa was actually a main character the whole show.

Can’t remember the exact wording but it’s explained in the manga with a few panels. But basically the memories are etched into the body along with the CT, which then enters the brain. Which is why Yuta is reading the memories one by one.

This is how i felt about Todo until he reappeared again, the whole time I was wondering if Gege had offscreened him for whatever reason ;dead;
Him saying there's no point to killing off MeiMei because she wouldn't be as memorable
It's partially true but I like how MeiMei was just about her bag and bounced when she realized s*** got a bit too much in Shibuya
plus she one of the few baddies left Gege cmon now ;what;, I don't like how quickly he killed off Yuki tho
confirmed he the woat writer now
