I felt the same exact way. I still think there’s more to Sukuna’s story. We need to know how he became how he is. Ultimately he wants to fight someone or something stronger than him, and I don’t think he will be satisfied with his death if he was jumped lol. I hope it doesn’t end here, I will be sad because I see all the potential in the world with this story.

Nah thats wrong. Sukuna has been shown multiple times now that he doesnt care about fighting somebody stronger the way Gojo or Kashimo do. He ultimately lives in the present to enjoy the moment. There is no ideal he has or no regrets from the past. His cooking theme also comes from him literally enjoying every encounter with somebody who aspires to beat him. He feasts on the flavors and the lifestories of people like Kashimo, Jogo, Gojo etc. The ultimate gourmet basically.

This chapter gave this a nice spin with him admitting that Yuji is irritating for him since he now had a first person experience with somebody weak who actually follows an ideal and has morals. Sukuna was simply too strong to ever develop the need for ideals or a lifegoal in his own words lmaoo

Thank you for that interpretation! Yeah all you said is correct, and I like that way more. It’s interesting to me because he doesn’t have ideals or a life goal which seems to spark his curiosity to see what others can offer. He seems to travel through time simply out of boredom and interest, and not because he has some end goal. Just entertainment until he eventually dies. He is a hedonistic person with power. I love how nonchalant he is about it until Yuji made him question himself.

Genuinely dont know what gege gonna do. Since Sukuna fully reincarnated this man wasnt breaking a sweat. He has rct back and didnt even need to use the fire technique. If gege suddenly has Maki, Yuta, Yuji and co beat sukuna it would kinda come out of nowhere and you would question why Yuta and Gojo didnt 2v1 him from the beginning. Especially since Yuta seems like such a natural counter to Mahoraga and Gojo nearly killed sukuna multiple times. It didnt need much a suprise attack would have been possible. To me the most satisfying conclusion is the gang losing here ngl

Honestly, you're right. The only way to rationalize Gojo and Yuta not attacking 2vs1 initially is because Sukuna's domain would kill Yuta right away (and that whole thing about holding Gojo back yada yada). And rn sukuna can't use his domain. But yeah, I feel like Gege is somehow writing himself into a corner. We'll see. Once he's had enough rest.

We probably posting all this just for Sukuna eating Rika next chapter and implanting Kenjakus brain into Yutaor some ridiculous s\*\*\* like that
