Not mad at the concept being rebooted. Miami Vice doesn't need any major lore or to pick back up on story. It just needs to drop us off in the middle of action, then start whatever story they want to tell there. The fashion and look has to be nailed tho and reflect 2020's well

But are they gonna go for a lighter tone that’s true to the show, or follow Manns movie vision and keep it darker. I heard people say Mann originally wanted the show to be darker.

I just picked Teller cause he’s worked with the director on 3 movies already then obviously Damson is in his upcoming movie
