Great movie. Best take on UFOs/aliens I’ve ever seen. Not as good as Get Out, but not really comparable either. Weird feeling of being scared/happy at the same time.
Idk Arrival might edge this out for me a tiny bit

Man I just got out of my 2nd watch in IMAX and honestly, I did not fully process this film the first go round at all. Bruh this s*** is genius man like 4real 4real. This whole concept of the spectacle as a predator and how it’s used as a metaphor for the invention of the white gaze and our addiction to attention and it’s ties to exploitation. How some are drawn to it, seek it out (emerald) and others so recluse they cant even speak towards its attention in a room (OJ) notice how the black horse luckh freaked when it first saw its reflection! Notice how the white horse ghost was always seeking it! The father even claimed he was acting out, being territorial. Ghost was eaten but lucky never was! This s\*\*\* touches on so many things bro. Look at the pieces they used to map out that plan bro...it was monopoly! I caught symbolisms the 2nd time around I didn’t even realize were there! What the film is saying is actually clear as day! This s*** is brilliant!

You go to the movies, enjoy what’s presented, spectacle and all.
Then you discuss the film with friends and a***yze details.
Then you go back again to enjoy the movie even more.

gnarlynastythe number one thing that lets you know that this movie wasn't necessarily about killing the monster but more or less about how humans treated the monster is the fact that there were 0 guns(besides Gordy getting shot)in this movie. And i think with the material this monster was made out of,it could've seriously been dealt with,with the right kinda fire power.
It also shows the motives of humanity versus the motives of animals. Both are trying to survive, and using eachother to do it in a certain way. It is a wild movie with a lot going on.

He didn’t direct candyman, miss Nia decosta did. Peele just was a producer and helped put it together
But it’s sounding leaps and bounds better than that
I really liked candyman secretly but the ending was a little scrambled
