Oscar WinnerFather Stu is actually an interesting one because it has a 43% on RT by the critics but a 95% from the audience. That’s a big f***in difference.
And the critic score is only based off like 100 reviews whereas the audience score is based off 1000+
Idk kinda makes me think the system is very flawed because that 43% is wayyy more recognizable than that 95%
I mean, you can make the same argument in reverse for pretty much every A24 movie.
Hell, almost every recent (as in the past 10 years) critically acclaimed horror film has a more mixed reception among audiences compared to their critics scores.
Audiences nowadays tend to not enjoy slow burners (when it comes to horror) or films that subvert their expectations.

Peele adds his own unique artsy approach to mainstream films, and that is what will continue to make him stand out from others
Even if you dont love the end result, his films will always evoke feeling from you. And as a director I'd imagine that is the most important thing, you don't have to love the art but as long as it makes you feel something

Honestly,this is such a big movie till the point irrelevant reviewers are voicing their opinions on it. I wouldn't really look at the percentage,but I'd look for top critics opinions mostly,if you needed a critics opinion.
