It doesn’t sound like they’re comparing the quality to Tarantino and Spielberg, but rather this movie has some stylistic similarities to those two directors.

Grace saying “as if Kubrick, Hitchcock, and Tarantino had a baby” is like people saying Travis Scott’s sound is a direct influence of Kanye and Cudi. Not saying that he’s as good or better than those two artists, but just that his art shares similar qualities. There’s nothing outlandish about that imo

If you look at it that way,that definitely means this movie is of way higher quality then his last two. I guess their basically trying to say that his movies have left B Movie territory

Boy,i remember when this movie had an official poster for when it was first announced a couple yrs ago,crazy that its coming out this week

the mystery and speculation was rabid. Sad that it’s died down a bit just before release but word of mouth and fan reactions sound like they’re gonna be strong

I remember people in here speculating saying this gonna be a movie about a monster created from global warming/bad atmosphere,all the way to this being a reboot of "Attack Of The Killer Clowns".

And we still don't know exactly what were getting into on openin week word of mouth will be strong with this movie

I don’t think anyone is reading it as “Peele is now as good as Tarantino” but more so some of the artistic choices shares similarities to something you’d see in a Tarantino film. It’s more so the combination of those directors is what makes it wild (ina good way)

Lynch and Kubrick are the masters of this s***. What if we get some 2001:A Space Odyssey vibes with this movie

Split was so good and then Glass was one of the most boring movies I’ve ever seen in my entire life
