Those texts make mucchhh more sense if this is the story of what happened. When the woman messaged she collapsed and s*** that made it seem like he knocked her out but what they’re saying is that there were hours in between the car fight and Majors coming back to the apartment and finding her passed out before calling the cops

Nowhere in the texts does the ex say the marks or collapse was due to the fight. And they apparently have hours of this footage of her unmarked in the club and witnesses who saw her that night

Main reason I'm do skeptical is cuz the lawyer literally lied about the chick retracting her claims and being on majors side

They probably do have written statements but that means little since the cops a made an arrest based off of what they saw and what she told them on the scene. She says in the texts that she told the cops it was not assault or strangulation after the fact (again this means little for the arrest) so I don’t think the lawyer is lying exactly.

Is the victim actually on a “side” here? She was granted a protection order but it wasn’t her request, it was the DA with consent from Majors’ team. Majors’ team got what they wanted from her but otherwise have been against her entirely

My main takeaway from this when the story first broke has always been the same. It is hard to imagine a situation where a woman you’re dealing with, thinks you’re texting other women, and ask to see your phone peacefully and calmly. Especially if she thinks she’s texting you in that moment of confrontation.

It seems a rather sad situation for both parties. Sounds to me like she lied, and that this whole thing is fueled by hurt from a relationship gone bad. Hope they heal.
