Maybe I'm also projecting but I've had abusive partners before. I've made calls and sent similar texts to friends insisting I was okay so my partners wouldn't get in trouble because I still loved them and hoped we could work things out but the whole time, I was scared for my life and despite being abused, I still stayed in those relationships longer than I should have.
Any woman who has ever been in an abusive relationship with a man will immediately recognize a similar pattern in those texts.

YANDHIDisney kinda the saving grace at this point. Kang Dynasty is still 2 years away. Secret Wars is 3 years. If he’s still on then he’s certified to continue big films on the future
I think they publicly invested too much into him not to at least make an attempt to help their investment. The May date is the deciding factor and although I think there was prob wrongdoing, idk if the charges will stay
This is all of course secondary to him facing what’s immediately in front of him right now, rehabbing and staying out the picture
IMO, I could see Marvel being confident enough to recast him and still pull forward. They’ve recast actors before- none as important as Kang is turning out to be, but they’ve also recast for far less reason to do so.

I think this situation will force Marvel to do heavy background checks on the actors they cast and that's a good thing. There's no room for abusive a******s to get the kind of fame and success Jonathan has seen already.

Your personal experiences is often the best compass to use in these situations, noticing the similarities and whatnot. I just don’t think we’re there yet given the inconsistent story minimal details even with these texts. Think it’s important to know when to apply personal experiences to see thru the bullshit, Johnny Depps case being a good example of what you’re saying.

I personally think he's guilty. You're free to not think so. I'm just speaking based on my experience and the experience of countless women I know who have gone through the same thing and those texts read like they're from a woman who has suffered abuse at that man's hands not just once. I bet it isn't the first time this has happened. Let's just wait and see how this all unravels before I say more.
