I agree, I also think that if a woman gave her boyfriend a list like Jonah's, that'd be very dumb, you've gotta think about these things before you get into a relationship with someone, like her job and her friends are pretty fundamental

The only gendered thing I'd say is that men seem to be more into limiting their girlfriends to a housewife 'I'm the only man in your life' role than women are about keeping their boyfriends away from all other women, that's just from my experience though, the majority of ultra-controlling partners I've heard about have been men, but I've still seen guys get abused in similar situations too, it's not gender exclusive by any means
