"Wastes Lady Gaga" Why are they acting as if she's f***ing Marlon Brando or something lol. Is the story worse because shes "wasted"? That should be the topic.
Not really surprising given that everything Todd Philips had to say about this movie ahead of time was f***ing awful and seemed to misunderstand the intentions of his own movie.
Another divisive classic FǏŁMĒ
This doesn’t seem to be divisive, it seems to be resoundingly mid.
Divisive would be a somewhat significant sampling of reviews stating it’s a masterpiece, incredible, one of the best films of the year.
And then an another sampling of reviews calling it straight garbagio.
do ppl think the first film was adequate enough for a joker adaption?
cus i always saw this joker as a b**** so hiim continuing to be a b**** makes sense.
this isnt the clown prince of crime this is a theatre kid loser. if you liked his characterisation in the first flick i dont understand why you would hate it now?

Guess they expected him to lean more into what he became during the final 15 minutes of the first one?
But truthfully it was all downhill for Arthur lol dudes a born failure

Goat Phillips and Francis Ford Coppola are saving cinema in big 2024

After that gay movie fiasco he's not getting an oscar this season lmao

Did he actually have to bite on a glizzy in the film or what? I never understood him dropping out

I feel like Joker got undeserved flowers because it was a comic book movie that LOOKED like a real movie.
Then The Batman came out it turns out you can make a comic book movie that looks like a real movie and, divorced from that, is still a pretty solid movie on its own.
