Haven’t seen yet but it seems like the biggest indictment on the movie is that it isn’t divisive or polarising. People seem to pretty much widely agree that it’s just not great. Cool in some parts but overall doesn’t really amount to much. That’s terrible news

Worst case scenario tbqh
If it's bad I want it unhinged out of control mess
Simply mid would be a disaster
Rewatch it fam. That film does NOT hold up at all
yeah the first one has aged really bad to me too. tho i still think joaquin did good with what he was given

Folks are finally beginning to wake up and realize now that the first film was practically mid and carried by Phoenix's performance lol
I'm gonna fork over money to watch this but I'm willing to come to terms with myself that the probability of this being another mid film as the first one is very likely
Should have honestly left the first film as a stand alone and kept it's ending as ambiguous but nah Hollywood always has to intervene and ruin something that doesn't need to be expanded upon
I unintentionally haven’t seen the first one yet. Not hearing good things about this one unlike when the first one dropped though
seen it last night idk how i feel about it lol wasn’t bad and had some cool scenes but also kinda feel pointless as a sequel
Heard the ending is absolute buns
🤭 if I speak
This aint good? Should i cancel tickets?
Why not decide for yourself? Its divisive mostly because of the under use of Harley and the Musical aspects, but im hearing its a good movie overall.
i get joker is a beloved character but i'll never understand how the dude who made hungover made a taxi driver rip off that was critically acclaimed
Dismissing Joker as a Taxi Driver ripoff is such lazy criticism imo. There’s influence, but it’s definitely different enough to stand on its own. The Batman takes more from Fincher than Joker takes from Scorsese.
