Not to say you'll for sure love it but after those first part/once the story really hits its stride no matter how you feel you won't think it's boring

Second half of golden wind is awesome. I feel like I don’t like the combat as much overall but the ending twists and fights are awesome

Battle tendencies undeniably my favorite. I love it so much. Everything about it is awesome

Stardust crusaders is also very very good to me because the gradual burn, the initial shock of stands, the long journey aspects of it, all are very very cool to me.

Diamond Unbreakable imo, drags a bit and while the setting and a lot of the characters are really really cool, I can’t help but feel it could’ve been a much sharper / tighter show with like 24 episodes. Golden wind feels the same way. Golden wind story might be my second favorite but the combat doesn’t interest me as much as some of the fights in stardust crusaders. I feel some could’ve been trimmed from the beginning of golden wind as well, but the second half so far has been amazing.

My biggest gripe with Jojo overall is how araki will come up with some of the most vile disgusting villains I’ve ever seen and they’ll have the audacity to act self righteous at their death and beg for Jojo’s mercy as if they deserve it. The fear stand doing this in Diamond Unbreakable after almost murdering josuke’s mom and friends along with enyabas attitude towards her son and the photo dad from part 4 seriously had me frustrated. They’ve made the villains less understandable in the latter parts and that’s also affecting my enjoyment I think.

Like why does every single murderous psychopath stand user have to go “surely as the hero you won’t kill me right? I was only kidding”

Also they got giorno saving everybody from a gruesome death while Mista and buccarati call him an idiot

Just finished Stone Ocean. Wow. The ending I was a little confused about what the last few pages meant but I read a quick explanation and it cleared it right up. Jolyne's butterfly tattoo has a whole new meaning. I loved Jolyne. She had so much character. Really funny and smart, absurd planning skills, quick thinking, an awesome stand, etc. Idk if she surpasses Jotaro, but she's really close.

My only real complaint with this part is that I felt like the side characters were kinda weak. Hermes had a really cool stand but it felt like it was hardly used but I did like her personality and interactions with Jolyne. FF had potential but she basically just ended up being a walking gun? I didn't really connect with her at all. I had seen Weather Report before and I thought I was really gonna like him but, again, I felt like him and his stand were just underutilized. I really liked his backstory and it was important to the overall story but I just wish we got more of him. I'm indifferent on Emporio. Annasui was easily my favorite of the side characters. He had a pretty simple stand and it felt like that simplicity led to it being used more. I'm also a sucker for overly dedicated, romantic characters who are willing to go above and beyond for the person they love.

I don't think any of the side characters were bad, but compared to Golden Wind where all the side characters were amazing, this group just didn't really hit the same for me.

I wasn't really f***ing with Pucci as a villain until near the end. I honestly kept expecting him to die and for the actual main villain to get introduced. He ended up becoming a pretty interesting character in like the last 1/4 of the manga.

Stone Ocean is probably my 2nd favorite part now but as I sit with it over the next few weeks/months I could definitely see it becoming my favorite.

Damn. I guess I'ma have to read the manga now though cus Part 7 clearly will take forever to release in full by now.
