I actually really enjoyed the ending
yeah there’s a lot of s*** that will never get answered but jjl’s a story ab josuke and even more ab finding ones true self and I feel like this chapter summarized that and wrapped everything up really nicely

about my thoughts as well
I liked the last chapter but the Wonder of U was a really really bad climax. Hope Joseph comes back in part 9 though even as an old man.

l agree but I probably wouldn’t say really really bad, toorus just some mid pack but the arcs got highlights
isolated however, these last two chapters are gas and l really enjoy them as a conclusion
I can’t even lie, I cried a little bit at the stuff w josefumi’s mom lol smh|| and fhe || ending panel

Disappointed with the fact that the flashforward was entirely dropped. The chapter itself was fine, but too many loose ends.
At least Josuke got a resolution to his character but so many plot points got dropped
I’m not a fan of Morioh as a place but it was entertaining enough
Everything leading up to the ending was great, but I had an idea there was atleast 1 or 2 years left. And then it ended. Shame

I think it shifted from being a general Jojo's (curse/calamity vs Joestar) story to being one around this family and their ties w one another
maybe not a shifter per se, but its narrowed down specifically to just that. there's different ways to do that ofc but I think Araki really just wanted to do something light
It was a fun ride the conclusion feels a little rushed ngl but overall I enjoyed part 8 a lot
Maybe I’ll return to posting just for this thread
Thats basically what I do once a month.
Im a bit more active now because of Donda
On ep 19 of season 1. So far, I definitely prefer the Battle Tendency arc over Phantom Blood. Both hard af.
Joshu's arm unironically spoke to me how little most of the Higashikatas were developed for a real conclusion
Like Daiya didn't get touched again since the first arc. Hato had her one moment in the sun and that's it. It was okay when the story appeared to be Gappy + friends vs the HD and possibly Jobin and Tsurugi who WERE developed , but it doesn't ultimately go that route
