Jonathan vs Dio
Dio’s WORLD
bites the dust arc
The end of part 6
ticket to ride/entire last stretch of SBR
I mean to each their own but I feel like these are defining moments of each part
I even really like the Rolling Stone art at the end of part five, but chose to exclude it because it can be pretty controversial
parts 1, 2, 3, 5 endings all lackluster in their own ways. 6 is good but messy
Part 5 must be my least favorite part so far, hope the manga is better
I had more fun reading the manga tbh. Death's were more impactful in the anime though

I loved the Italian vibe + Bucciarati a young goat but those fights and most stands didn’t really do anything for me
Same can be said with AoT lmao. I think it's cause of recency bias.
What do you mean?
Part 7 didn't have any mention of Jotaro
maybe Araki is okay letting streaks end
have u read jojolion lol?
i’m done this guy considers the ending of stone ocean and sbr garbage
Amazing endings

agree to disagree
Amazing endings
yeah lm not gonna bother lol some people really only here for the fights
This will be my first time experiencing a new jojo part when it starts. Very excited to see what araki has in store
There is no mention of him starting part 9. He is either taking a break or its the dnd
What do you mean?
I think it's easier to remember the ending of a series cause it's so recent vs remember the series as a whole.
Teen Titans is universally loved, but people keep forgetting it has one of the worst endings due to it being axed.
Regular show had some s***ty seasons, but the ending and first couple of seasons helped it stay relevant to this day.
These two examples show two levels of endings, but give it enough time the whole series can be looked at together without the ending solely defining it.
I can say the AoT can and will still be considered a classic despite the ending
what's the jojo after the wild west one called
Steel Ball Run
meant the part after sbr

A good example is Lost....
You cant set up things and dont deliver

def my least favorite of Post stardusct crusaders parts but the highlights are amazing
gonna read stone ocean? 🥺
I always thought the kid dying of a cold was morbidly hilarious. it never bothered me, same way how Johnny technically not winning the race doesn’t bother me. Like ye technically they didn’t reach their goal that they had originally but they gained so much more :rejoice:
I would say it's a Pyrrhic victory. Both ceased to exist
well that’s an easy one, he didn’t exist at that point in the timeline, since part 7 mirrors parts 1-2, part 8 mirrors parts 3-4, and part 9 will hopefully mirror parts 5-6
so since Jotaro wasn’t in the first two parts, he wasn’t in part 7 either
yeah but my point is still the streak ended. He's not recalcitrant against the idea, and he hasn't outwardly referenced Dio just for the sake of maintaining a streak. Anytime he has in the past 7 times it's been for a reason
