i’d take a more interesting plot over a conventionally “good” ending anyways. even with this ending Jojolion still better than parts 1, 2, and 3

Started last week. On episode 14 of The Phantom Blood (season 1). I know that this is apparently the worst season but I’m f***in with it

This can’t be a worse ending than 5 imo

At least the last fight was actually competitive. And if this epilogue sets up part 9, it’s better than SS

1 and 2 are really only vilified by a certain crowd that REALLY hates the shonen aspects of the first 3 parts

I think most people find some real joy out of them and only have them amongst the low tier bc their length and/or intentional linear design
