I really don’t understand why that’s such a massive plot point and I definitely don’t get why it’s like an irrecoverable miss if it didn’t lead to Tsurugi himself doing more

Tsurugi as a symbol for the curse is still him being incredibly impactful imo. He was arguably the secondary focus of everything that occurred at the estate

I think it’s like a 65% chance we spend a big chunk of part 9 (maybe not the first arc) giving further exposition to the Higashikatas, so who knows when you’ll be able to definitively say that

You could conclude that it’s a bit disappointing if we need half a decade or more to resolve one plot point though lol
