like it's all solid, but I just ain't vibe with the villain like that. plus people hyped it up so much i was expecting something like some off the wall s\*\*\* that just kinda catches you off guard. like stone ocean ending is goat for how things went down I was not expecting that at all. sbr felt more cookie cutter, araki ain't really hit it with any upper cuts it was just a cool tale. I feel like dio being in it makes people gas it more

yeah for sure the “uppercut” moments of SBR were Valentine’s stand reveal, Gyro/Valentine’s deaths, and then surprise The World Dio lmfao. so i understand why you’d see it on a smaller scale than what happened in Stone Ocean.

I like 8 more too. I agree the fanbase kinda overrated steel ball run. It’s great but I read that s*** twice and was never like amazed

id say if you got patience to get through it its worth it. honestly for me it was the same, and like the whole first part was some suck but then since part 2 it gets better and stardust crusaders is where it gets really f***ing good.
there is lots of people who dont like those first parts or at least the first one. the second one is clearly a jump in quality so id say just stick it out and then if you dont like part 2 then its prolly not worth continuing
