AquillaControversial opinion: Although I liked 2000, I would've loved it even more if it was an actual 2000s themed album sonically. Think of Joey rapping over beats inspired by Dame Grease, Just Blaze, Bink, The Heatmakas, Music era Erick Sermon, etc. 2000 would have been a bit more impactful had that occurred but unfortunately Hip Hop artists are prone to playing it safe to not offend or scare their audience

He had the hunger from 2012-2017 but he started focusing on acting for awhile and when he came back with a new album 5 years later it was…underwhelming.
Still a talented rapper though. Just lost his hunger.
