he did that with cruise control on here. he's super talented and he's letting his fanbase box him in tbh. his melodies are solid and he can rap on anything, he should def experiment more imo

That was a case of him experimenting and stepping out of the boom bap box and it not turning out well lol. AABA was pretty good but even those beats were still kinda boom bapish

WESLEYS THEORYIt’s a good album but not one of the best this year.
Kendrick/Vince/Denzel/Lupe all dropped better albums imo

I dont know about that. Its good, its got some great tracks for sure but as an overall body of work, i didn't think the s*** was outstanding. Some of the production got a little samey and Joey wasn't really hitting me with anything crazy lyrically. My expectations were met, but they weren't super high to begin with.
Vince and Denzel both captivated me more then this album did. Especially Denzel. His album was really great and i'm tired of some people acting like its not.
