I see more of the concept in this than the one with the girls, you have the religious imagery of Mary praying as if to ask for repentence fromnsin as well as linking into the original symbol. The cover also taking inspiration for only one, where as When I look at the other cover, it doesn't go with the album at all IMO

exactly. the juxtaposition of sin/sanctification is still present in the themes of these beautiful covers and is far more striking and meaningful than religious imagery just plastered on a cover.
