Oh yeah they do, but it's only if it becomes a big enough problem where people are frequently bringing it up and/or causing people to stop listening or using the service.
It's the same reason why Complex got him for Everyday Struggle. His whole domestic abuse thing wasn't a big enough issue with a lot of people, so they didn't care.

Esther Baxtor, claimed that Joe Budden sat on her stomach while pregnant, causing her to miscarriage.
Joe referenced him and her losing a baby on a freestyle to Frank Ocean's "Novacane".
When asked about the incident on The Breakfast Club, he admitted (and emphasis) that he sat on her and chest and breast area, not her stomach. And that he apparently did that in a attempt to restrain her until the police arrive, because she was the one putting hands on him.
Losing the baby in the process.
Disgusting either way.

Honestly it's alot of weirdos in the manga/anime industry who are/were involved in some wild s***. Thing is though because their work makes a lot of money and surprisingly helps Japan in regards to tourism and spreading culture, Japanese government and law enforcement doesn't do all that much about it.
It also doesn't help that Japan's average age of consent by prefecture ranges from 13-16 years old. Like it's only a handful that have local laws/statutes at 18. So yeah, lotta weird and disgusting s*** is able to go on, and loopholes are able to be found, etc.
