This is an important election so that we can get a farce of a man out of the presidential office who represents the ultimate failure of the two party system. He was a terrible choice the first time and yet people still voted for him hence the problem. In focusing solely on the importance of voting democrat this election cycle all you and anyone who thinks like you is doing is opening the doors for the same thing to happen again 4 years from now.

A strong 3rd party candidate isn’t about winning in 2020 it’s about building momentum. There’s more division within both parties then there’s ever been. A 3rd party candidate with centrist leanings could maybe capture 15 percent of the vote. That’s not enough to win obviously but enough to start a dialogue. Build infrastructure around the 2020 run...op eds, podcasts, interviews so on and so forth and suddenly there’s a foundation for changing the binary red or blue political narrative that’s crippling our country.

Maybe then in 2024 a bid gets 20- 25%. Same story...momentum. Then finally perhaps in 2028 we finally have a chance to have a true 3rd party president and break the cycle all because the choice was made to capitalize on the present.

Or lazy head asses like yourself can continue to do the absolute minimum and put x’s next to the name with a “D” on the ballot and then return to crying on the internet.

There isn’t. Voting a third party in the current system is essentially a wasted vote. So vote 3rd party is essentially a vote for keeping Trump
