I'd just rather get my critiques and facts on Communism by poor people living in the country that uses that system than some dude who seems to only read "documented facts" in support of their views while they live in the comfort of their suburban American home and has never stepped foot in a Chinese ghetto

I mean, he’s not gonna say “I think Communism is low-key kind of fire.”, that would just be throwing red meat to conservatives.
Socialism and ESPECIALLY Communism are tainted words in this country.
Honestly, maybe they should be rebranded here. Take their systems and just give them a new name.
You know you can read marx yourself if you’d like
I do, but I was interested in the opinion on that from others. The thing I enjoy most on KTT2 is that some people really share some of their own ideas and insights.
I didn’t find what I was looking for here, I readjusted these expectations. There are tons of great sources on the internet and speakers like Žižek that can provide rich in-depth information.

at this point, as far as getting the foot in the door, sure, call it whatever you want
But also the United States needs to reckon with a near-century's worth of lies about communism socialism and its own imperialism,
This is impossible without recognizing socialism and communism as having been maligned systems and ideas in the United States
Such a destructive worldwide violent smear campaign needs to be recognized for what it was and is, the US wants to hold on to as much power as possible at the expense of everyone else

Close friend of mine was living in China for two years as a teacher for for children. He'd move around China living in rural areas, the cities, and the ghettos. He would say his ideology leans way more communist, and he refers to himself as a Black communist.
One of the first things he told me when he got back to the states about the ghettos in China..."Nigga I thought Camden was bad"

damn
humanity was destined to end at one point or another
Would you prefer that be this century or far into the distant future?
Would you prefer that be this century or far into the distant future?
well it 100% won't be this century

The USA is the foremost superpower of the world, China is still a developing country despite all its advances
The poorest Americans can still be richer than many people around the world
So poor people and ghettos do not exist in China?
They exist, but China has abolished absolute poverty recently, and seeks to abolish relative poverty in the near future
"Absolute poverty is when household income is below a certain level, which makes it impossible for the person or family to meet basic needs of life including food, shelter, safe drinking water, education, healthcare, etc."
"Relative poverty is when households receive 50% less than average household incomes, so they do have some money but still not enough money to afford anything above the basics. This type of poverty is, on the other hand, changeable depending on the economic growth of the country."
You're talking about a country that in the early 2000s had the same GDP per capita as the United Kingdom had in the 1870s (sic)

Dont ask loaded questions then
No serious Marxist-leninist is going to engage in that sort of weird idealism where we pretend we can know the exact conditions of things before they happen
Would you prefer that be this century or far into the distant future?
Depend on what that looks like, if it all ends with a nuclear bomb and we’re all wiped out before we even know it then I don’t have a preference
If it’s a prolonged period of straight suffering then of course distant future

Anecdotal evidence from people in a capitalist state which calls themselves communist sounds like a reasonable way to form your opinion on an entire political ideology
Motherfuckers arguing about capitalism and communism, and I just wanna grill for GOD'S SAKE
Dont ask loaded questions then
I'm just not going to expect comments/answers from you that reach below surface level. You never do that, I'm not going to expect it from you. I wasn't even replying to you anymore lol

Moreso I'd rather just hear the pros and cons of a system from people living under it than from some bozo on KTT...like is that such a wild request

China's only Communist in name, and so is every country that claims to be Communist. Communism is the end result of a long progression from Socialism where there's no hierarchies whatsoever. You'd essentially live in a commune which is a***ogous to anarchism

Sure don't get your opinions on communism from ktt that's totally reasonable, but also don't get them from people who literally don't even live in a communist country

Nahh not completely. Communism has two meanings:
1 is the one you laid out, the endgoal of a classless, moneyless and stateless society and
2 the movements that strive to achieve this, this can incluse anarcho communists and marxists leninists and even China if they were actually trying to reach that endgoal (but we all know that they're not)
