Gonna take me several listens to really process this, the production threw me off so crazy that I don’t know how I feel about it.
Definitely wasn’t expecting this sound from a JMSN album.

I listened to velvet and it is. I honestly forgot all about this dude. I loved his early albums and the two newer ones I listened to were pretty good. I need to listen to the rest though. How would you rank his projects

I’m actually digging this so far. It’s a pretty unexpected direction for him but I think it’s done well, and I respect that he never does a retread of past releases. It might not be one of my top JMSN albums but I’m enjoying it more than I was expecting.

finally got around to this. bro went full grunge/90s alt rock. not in love w it, but not mad at it. “Goodbye” sounds like a straight smashing pumpkins song and I love thatttt
