part of me believes that snyder fans want this to be good because they've hyped themselves so much for it that now that they are in denial if how bloated and bang average it is

if you're going to make a film it has to be real real good to justify that runtime the modern consumer doesn't have that type of attention span unless you're bringing something revoltionary to the table.

it has the stench that it was made for a really niche audience and the films leading into it have been bang average at best. there's going to be a point where audiences will be fatigued from all the cape s*** if they keep slamming them out.

The thing is the runtime is intentionally bloated because the fans asked for it. This isn't the version that would have been shown in theaters. If anything I have seen people ask for more and many have already rewatched it multiple times
