We saw the fallout of Dipset play out. It was Cam's fault. He held them back, made a move on Byrd Gang and sold Juelz to Def Jam.
Jim copied what he saw and did the same to his crew. More money on shows, borrowing records etc. Jha Jha kinda explained a little in an interview

ASAKIJim is a trendsetter for sure but his perspective is warped on Ye, Pharrell, and Rocky to an extent. He was never in that lane.
Saying no one wanted to put on what Pharrell had and that Ye only influenced nothing is dusty.
