A 17 year old kid who doesn’t have the money to get his s*** professionally mastered/mixed, doesn’t have the time or patience to learn how and wants to make music now doesn’t care about nothing JD saying
Lmaoo if a nigga is even inputting a truly human made song into a service like that we have to be happy with that @ this point
There’s major companies trying to cut costs and feed us slop and expect us to like it and then there’s tools of democratization for relatively semi professional music creation for aspiring artists in a time where we collectively have devolved the financial ROI (and thus the worth of investment time and cost) of music to a fraction of a penny. F*** all that “its not about the money” lmao it cost money to wipe our ass f*** feeding and clothing yourself
everything about this post is horrifically wrong
u will never be an artist if u think inputting some words into a tool to spit out some music is something meaningful
it’s saddening to see mfs first excuse be “well young folks don’t know how to mix and master so much ofc they’ll go towards ai” LIKE B**** NO S*** U DONT KNOW HOW TO F***ING MIX TOU HAVE TO PUT IN WORK TO LEARN !!!!!!!! THATS THE POINT !!!!!! YOU USELESS F***ING BUM B**** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sounds like you should stay out of creative spaces if you thought this was reasonable enough to click Post for ngl
I've gotten paid by 300 ent for production way before Ai came out and and paid for cover arts way before AI came out. Niggas been paying me for creative work since Obama presidency. Please don't do that brother lol
People are way too emotional about this because they have a one track minded way of looking at it instead of even giving a little bit of space for their perspective to change. Most logical people are against AI completely taking out human input from creative works and that's mostly what y'all are arguing against but only lazy Tyga Fenix types are on that
Not to mention respectfully brother I remember you saying you were cool with stem separation and other effiency based AI things, how is some broke kid who wants his song sounding professional as he can achieve right now using a service like this different?
I can’t afford p****, bout to f*** some AI now
We literally will be having this debate with our grandsons if not our sons lol
A teenager can’t afford beats either, should they use AI to make beats?
YouTube beats (lmaoo as producers I bet many would rather them do that then steal our s*** off YouTube but that's a whole nother Convo that go to no bread/money flow in industry as a whole lol which is precursor to AI's arrival in the industry), making the type of beats they probably want can probably be learned in less than an hour on YouTube, there are also proto AI things that have been out like midi manipulators/Splice/Arcade/YouTube type loops lol, but most of all yes if we take our personal feelings out of it, as much as I don't like to say it as someone who makes beats, yes, there's a kid out there born in 2009 or some s*** who probably does think like what you're saying. Albeit most of the services for that suck right now and you would hear obviously that it's AI which is why that's probably not happening

Lmaoo at Kanye or ALC magically no longer having made the s*** they did before 2009 because they want to experiment with new technologies
Again no body disagrees that one is lazy af for completely relying on prompting to final release. What Fenix and Tyga did was weak and lazy. Using it for one aspect of productivity is where y'all are cherry picking. Sometimes y'all cool with stem separation but now getting your s*** mixed is too much lol
Lol ai is no threat to creativity believe me
ok yay ❤️
Lol ai is no threat to creativity believe me
Niggas letting Wall-E get them shaking in they boots like we not the f***in humans lol

lmao who cares why should we cater to laziness and lack of creative drive and resourcefulness because there's a tool for lazy people who want s*** done instantly in one button press
As a kid who just wanna put out music that's all you care about. I get y'all's sentiment though
When i was 17:
Learned how to pirate fl studio ableton and many vsts which took hours if not days
Learned how to use fl studio
Learned how to make decent beats
Theres no excuse with the internet. Ai mixing and s*** is just stupid as f*** u need to know how to mix for your own benefit
Your post gives off like MBA student trying to come up with shortcuts to maximize profit at the expense of the actual product, its not an artistic mentality
Same I did all that at 14-15 before it was hella tutorials on it lmao
Everyone should absolutely learn how to balance/level their vocals at a basic level but this seems like something to give your song a professional final sheen for a kid or even a broke mf in their 20's who can't afford a real engineer
Tbh hasn't "LANDR" Been out since like 2018 anyway? I remember this been being a service pre AI

My impression is ppl who dont want to learn how to actually make music generally arent doing it for artistic reasons which i cant rly fw
Like theres no benefit to using ai over downloading a preset and learning how to use plugins
Ngl i dont care that much tho, im way past needing ai help so its irrelevant to me

It’s lil niggas rapping on a Xbox mic rn grinding and they music still solid. If you got it you got it, f*** that ai s***.
AI can't compete with this idc
JD is a top-tier producer and songwriter.
Also shoutout out Jermaine Dupri, he f***ed Janet Jackson AND isn’t a AI promoting sell out. He a black hall of famer.

Saying this when mfs used to meticulously splice a***og’s magnetic tape to edit music. There used to be a passion behind creating music but it seems nowadays everyone wants a quick ticket to fame and some money. The passion is virtually gone and you can feel that in the music we hear today

easy — there is no human process to manually stem split a song, but audio engineers literally exist to mix songs, and whatever that AI process does is definitely generative rather than algorithmic like with stem splitting
using AI as a shortcut to save on paying people is like 60% of the issue lol. then there’s also the data it was trained on (which, in its current state, is typically unethical with stealing people’s work, but it can be less unethical if there are people willing to give data for AI to train itself on) & the environmental impact of data centers in the first place
