    WESLEYS THEORY

Is Jay-Z a Slimey businessman who’s probably seen some s*** and turned the other cheek? Sure.

    Is he a rapist? NO.

Y’all mfs owe him an apology fr. Y’all were way too excited to see him humiliated and torn down. And for what? Because of some Super Bowl s***? Because he’s a powerful man?

I'm a massive fan, some of the first albums I memorized when I was like 13 were Jays. Been sitting back and waiting for the facts to come out before commenting but he really did himself no favours rolling so deep with R Kelly. That makes the s*** plausible to like everyone.

If you are quoting it as the truth ….

NBC didn't fabricate this or get a fake to pretend to be the accuser. They reported on what they were told by the accuser and her attorney. Whether you believe they did this because of intimidation is a different story, but NBC are reporting on what they were actually told by the actual accuser and her lawyer

Not sure why you're questioning NBC's reporting on this, they wouldn't risk making this up or embellishing details and lose their credibility

He really didn’t. I really hate that he did those albums.

Only thing I’ll add is that everyone was collating with bro after they knew what time he was on sadly.

R Kelly was running the airwaves during that time

    Just read the NBC article.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/jay-z-rape-accuser-comes-forward-nbc-news-acknowledges-inconsistencies-rcna183435

If she is using the excuse that some faces "aren't as clear" and that she admits she misidentified other men, I doubt she wins the lawsuit.

They really did this to ruin his daughter’s premiere smfh

While I don’t disagree with that at all, in hindsight ALOT of mfs worked with R. Kelly, even though it was a well known open secret he was a guilty mf.

I don’t agree with creating a witch-hunt without something concrete and people were ready to grab their torches .5 seconds after the allegation was announced.

Me neither but I knew mfs would have the topic at 300 pages in a day

The worst part of all of this thread was people seeing something to do with Jay-Z and an alleged victim and somehow making it about Drake Vs. Kendrick

    Nasty, NASTY work

He had hit records with every artist on the radio during that time period like Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Cassidy, Twista, Snoop, Nas, while also writing records for MJ, B2K, Britney Spears, The Isley Brothers, Marques Houston, 112 and all that s***.

Like he was EVERYWHERE and while Jay should deff face criticism for working with him people act like he was the lone example for some reason lol

To be fair, even though I think this woman's bizarre and the time frame of it seems odd cuz Jay was on probation for stabbing someone when this allegedly occurred, she didn't fully recant her statement so this is probably gonna go forward until it gets torn apart from a legal standing or sum.

That's another thing. She didn't recant her accusations completely, which I think Jay-Z would want if he's putting her up to this. Seems far more realistic that the accuser and her lawyer realized that her story won't be believed by the general public because of the inconsistencies (which can affect the opinion of jurors if this eventually goes to trial) and they tried to get ahead of it by doing this interview

I think NBC got the info from the accuser's dad and/or those music artists, contacted Buzbee like "They said this and that. Care to comment?", he advised her to do this interview so that what her dad and those artists said isn't the only narrative out there

Hate posts like this cuz even if Jay is innocent who's to f***ing say what has or hasnt happened to this girl

Fr, I think The Boondocks Episode about R. Kelly was fantastic commentary for its time that aged like wine.

It took until he was completely washed up and borderline irrelevant for the industry to finally acknowledge his wrongdoings.

When he was dropped Ignition Remix and Imma Flirt, everybody just shrugged their shoulders because he was bringing in money and he was musically a very very talented individual.

Gotta squeeze every last penny out first

Chappelle was basically the only one to speak on it with that skit, other than 50 cent who just never gives a f***, he'll he didn't care too much he had that album closer with him on before I self destruct

I think the sextapes were 2002 and Ignition remix was 2003…..?

    If I can recall

I know that part of the reason the first Jay-Z/R. Kelly collab album wasn’t promoted much was because the news broke out shortly after it was released.
