I’m not fully keeping up, but the idea that buzbee wouldn’t know about this interview makes no sense.

I think he more likely directed his client to almost for lack of better words fall on their sword.

If it looks like the client did this on their own (while still wanting to pursue the civil case), it buys buzbee some “credibility” and “grace” for his other cases while casting this specific one to the side because the client is basically revealing on their own will that there’s inconsistencies and this can nip this case in the bud and move on to the rest.

According to the article, they spoke with her father and Benji Madden's reps earlier this week.

It's more likely that NBC were working on something, learned about the inconsistencies in her story from their interviews, went to Buzbee for comment, and he decided to get ahead of the negative story by having the victim clear the air herself with an exclusive interview.

Seems like journalism to me

I’m talking about how people care about the “victims” until they come out and said nothing happened.

I’ve seen niggas on this very site claim Jay groomed and raped Foxy even though she has had to come out multiple times and deny it.
