People taking an extremely hard stance on one side of the fence or the other is weird to me. It's okay to wait for more information

Thing is when it’s something as horrendous as rape people automatically pick a side.

Not saying it’s right but it’s how people work

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who's been instrumental in bringing several cases of sexual assault against Sean "Diddy" Combs, denies allegations that he attempted to extort a "high-profile" male celebrity.

Attorneys for the public figure, identified anonymously as "John Doe" in a lawsuit filed Monday, allege Buzbee is "shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him" with the threat of litigation containing "entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault," according to court documents obtained by USA TODAY.

he's allegedly been having people signed NDAs and settling lawsuits behind the scenes.

dont know how true that is or why he didn't want to pay the alleged victim for this particular case

“or why he didn't want to pay the alleged victim for this particular case” - Pay the alleged victim for what exactly? His statements is attempt to draw the public’s attention to glaring observations that would facilitate extortion..

-the statutes of limitations has not expired/do not apply in this particular case.. so why isn’t there a criminal suit filed? extortion..

-If this is about justice, why did you firstly seek confidential mediation? Where there’s a behind closed doors settlement that doesn’t involve the public? Why not try to expose Jay outright

It’s clear he thought Jay would pay up to avoid potential PR damage and this is Jay’s way of saying, you’ve got the wrong one!

Fair enough, but historically, when it comes to people in positions of power and influence who get accused of immoral/predatory behaviour dating back to the 70s/80s/90s/00s/before we had the internet and social media, it's always proven to be true.

Dr. Dre did assault multiple women. Bill Cosby did d*** and rape multiple women. R. Kelly did do all the nasty s*** he was accused of. Same with Diddy and now Hov.

I think what this reveals, is that a lot of nasty s*** was going on before the social media age/#metoo era when people in positions of power could do all sorts of crazy things and get away with it simply because it was much harder to expose these things decades ago.

Work Christmas party (we worked together). My boy had a girl so shouldn't have been doing this but you know liquor. He was getting close to this girl all evening in front of everyone. I thought he was moving slack but whatever. She wanted him to go back with her to the hotel he said no he got a girl (but they had been kissing). Guess she felt a way so told HR that he had been sexually inappropriate with her. Lost his job and his girl.

    cold world.

I just read a Twitter thread exposing jayz’s predatory history, but 17 of the 20 tweets were about Beyonce and whether she was 17, 18 or 19 when they started dating.

There is very little meat in these Twitter threads I’m seeing. Not saying there’s no meat but it was a whole lot of Beyonce talk

What do you expect Jay Z's side to say? It's ALWAYS that they're trying to get extorted and baseless lies and claims are being made against them. There isn't a single high-profile public figure that's been accused of wrongdoing who hasn't had that response. This doesn't prove anything.

Wasn't Diddy just saying the same thing?

I lean towards him being guilty and I did feel like some s*** would come out about Jay Z with the Diddy s*** just because of how young Beyonce was when they met (plus Foxy Brown and I'm probably forgetting a couple things) but I don't want to dogpile him just on a civil lawsuit I havnt even read or anything

Yes, we'll wait for more information to come out but I don't think it's a stretch to assume that damn near every rich and famous entertainer in the 60s-00s was damn near a d*** addict, s***addict, predator or domestic abuser, sometimes all 4 things. It was just a different time and that was what was normal back then. There wasn't any #metoo or wokeness or social media social justice warriors calling people out for doing bad s***. Everyone did terrible things and got away with it because that's just how things were. That's why I'm never surprised when things come out 20-40 years later.

You put a microscope on every famous entertainer back in those days and I bet you'll find a plethora worth of evidence of wrongdoing.

The thing is that ALL them niggas in entertainment and sports were doing wild s*** back then. All of them. It was either one thing or the other. It was a different time in culture back then and all that nasty s*** was normalised.

You don't even wanna know what all these beloved/iconic rockstars today were doing back then. D****, beating women up, having s***with underage girls. It was all the rage. They just haven't had anyone come out to make accusations (yet) but all this s*** is documented as happening for anyone who cares to dig deep enough, that's why I'm never shocked or surprised when s*** comes out like this.
