"Crackas got your publishing gangsta, go talk tough to them. don't talk success to me, you niggas is workers, in perpetuity is how your contract is worded" is insane lmao. Drake and Jay Z comparisons always bothered me cause Drale never really had a pen like that

ok he is a 'worker' that worked his way to a billion before turning 40....is that really that big of a diss ? come on

meanwhile look up when jay started f***in with bey ? his past with aliyah ? island hopping with epstein ? collap with rkelly ? his partner diddy ?

hov would be crazy (even if he thinks he can win), to actually go full in on drake....because whatever drakes drop will hurt his public perception if he ties him to all the BS for real.

there is a lot of REAL hov dirt out there, but his position of power and connections would stop anyone who depends on that industry to pull the trigger.

hov is really conscious about his image. he cant say much about drake, that others havent said already - drake can say some crazy s*** about hov that no other big artist would be willing to say on a track if he ties him to the BS.

    Ngl...I kinda agree with you.

I think Jay is generally a clean guy but there's still questions about his association with R Kelly, Weinstein, Diddy, and other questionable people.

And Drake could point out the double standard in niggas giving Jay the benefit of the doubt while accepting all the slander against him as the truth.

And no....I'm not caping for Drake. I think Jay would lyrically slaughter him worse than Kendrick. But the character assassination won't work on Drake in this specific beef.

I would prefer this to of just straight who can outrap who. That way niggas cant cop pleas and make excuses about mudslinging. This would honest and true test of penmanship

    I promise you

It doesn’t matter what is said, Jay has already won.

The public opinion will always sway against Drake lol

  • The ROC’s not crumbling, till the leprechaun magically run out of pranks, your son on a federal jail line mumbling something about having too much in his drink. You know how dumb that is?"

Someone explain this how this is a diss to tory im dumb and what is this referring to besides his dad at the meg trial

Drake is also in the Epstein files

  • People aren’t asking the right questions, what white people have Drake’s publishing? And for what albums?

Is he talking about Drake’s Scorpion and older publishing? Did Birdman / Cash Money sell all of it to UMG or someone else?

No one truly has revealed to the public who owns Drake’s extremely valuable back catalog. I’m not sure how this info hasn’t got out yet or hasn’t been reported on more.

Drake is also in the Epstein files

i listed 6 shady jay things and you responded to one thing with 'but drake too'

that angle already got used and bigged up in a big way through the superbowl by dot and jay

people who already hate drake because of it wont chage their mind. lets see how the regular mainstream folks look at jay if drake describes the aliyah, beyonce stuff to them in a quality track

Y’all remember when Drake claimed he had an unbeatable diss track for Ye & Pusha but he decided not to drop it because he didn’t want to go too far

    So did Kendrick etc

But drake so hated that he literally gives his ops a new fandom.

If they did battle Jays diss goes #1 purely out of spite and people wanting to propel another Drake hate record.

Jay could say literally anything and it’s wraps.

jay has a lot of haters, but he isnt that public, not active and usually uses bey or his children to get out of most of the trouble

if he steps out fr, he cant go back to hiding, subliminals or sending other hov d*** riders in anymore

Not in the same way Jay has or had haters

But it is from another time

Drake and Jay are similar in that way

If that is what you think… Drake aint got much to lose if being the underdog here

Jay ain’t relevant enough to have chronic haters though.

A lot of the people who clowned him in the early 2000s are either dead, too old to care or turned by nostalgia.

It’s a different age we live in now, social media has gassed up literally anything anti Drake for 2 years. It will continue

No I’m just saying, this - like the Kendrick one was a losing battle from the start.

Just like they said on the budden podcast, he might have out barred Kendrick but it didn’t matter.

Same applies here, I’d rather as a Drake fan just get more music from him than have another rehash of 18,24

we cant be sayin billboard doesnt matter for years
but then declare a win based on a track going no 1

a jay drake diss would be one of many of drake disses in the last decade. how many top tier artists have dissed hov in the last decade ?

i dont think jay with a diss can change the perception people have of drake. be it positive or negative.

i think drake can change the perspective people have on on hov, if he really digs in deep, something no one has been willing to yet because so many are on roc nation rolls.

the fact that hovs main business partner at roc nation is a known snitch is just crazy. these niggas keep talking about morals but....

yeah lets see how this plays out.

it was real and it was about kanye wanting to dedicate the album we know as "love everyone" (which later became "ye") to hitler. this was talked about way back in 2018. no idea what he would have said about pusha though.

Yea its insane as like you said, there's so much that can be used against him and w/ the general public his rep is decent
