I will never understand the need by fans and the media to paint Beyoncè as an equal to MJ. She isn't as good of a singer, dancer, performer, she doesn't write any of her s*** (MJ wrote most of his most known hits and also wrote songs for other people), she doesn't have as many hits as MJ, didn't sell as many albums as him and definitely doesn't come close to his cultural relevance.

She's a lot more energetic yes, but MJ had some of the most complex choreography sets ever and this was back in the 80s when niggas simply weren't doing s*** like that.

Beyoncè STUDIED MJ and Janet. That's where she got the sauce from. She's no doubt one of the best performers of HER generation but MJ is one of the best performers of ALL TIME.

Like someone else said she's not even close to Janet let alone MJ. She gets compared because she makes up for her lack of substance in music by trying to put a lot of effort in performing but it doesn't mean anything if the music is empty (being written by other people so not her own honest feelings)

I think it’s safe to say shes also one of the greatest performers of all time. If you’re at the top of the top of your generation you’re probably also on the all time list especially because pop music and performance hasn’t been around/recorded that long, there’s only like 5 generations to even pick from

Beyonce is a better singer/vocalist than MJ even while performing/in motion.. better endurance/stamina, wider range, more powerful voice, way more agile and a lot better coordination of singing/dancing while providing better quality vocals.

He is the better dancer by far, but let’s keep it a buck on the ‘live vocal’ tip..
