Jay Elec was never really all that lmao. "Exhibit C" and "Eternal Sunshine" are incredible but that's honestly it. Dude can rap well but the subject matter honestly runs thin after a few songs and he is so inconsistent with this views on things especially when compared to his own lifestyle that it's kind of insane lol. If you take him for who he is he's a cool emcee but that's where the line is drawn. Both his studio albums are just alright too lol

DonebeforeJay Elect undeniably raps in a way that paints these really beautiful pictures of his inner life and makes all these spiritual/mystic references that gives his music a cool dream-like quality, but he also strikes me as kind of a dumb dumb and whatever he meant by this is just kind of incoherent and probably not much at all. Doubt he could explain what he means here in an articulate way.
