I still really like this. Raimi was underused but his performance was still good imo
Would of been better if the villain was just Blofeld. Btw the garden of DeAth was weak as hell compared to how it is portrayed in the books which pissed me off
craig deserved a better villain to send off with but the rest of the movie was nice

Yeah been on a rollercoaster journey with how I feel about this movie but I can confirm I think it’s mainly the useless parts of the villain and the other 007 that pisses me off. Craig and Lea act their asses off.
2nd best Craig film behind casino
Scalding hot take

“Not in the slightest” (Quantum callback) it has aged the best with its rewatchability, intensity, character building, and his continuation of becoming Bond from Casino Royale. This is me being probably the biggest Bond fan on this site.

Second 007 was pretty silly but the actress killed it

Yeah the writing of the character was almost as pointless as Revas in the Obi Wan series but I thought both actors did a good job.
Bond needs to be 3 things — a murderer for the state, a misogynist, and a borderline alcoholic. If we keep these things in the mix we gotta banger. Seriously though a Cold War period piece is really the right move. You can have way more fun doing that.

I agree he needs to be a misogynist Dinasour and a relic of the Cold War as M calls him in Goldeneye. F*** bring him back to his 3 pack a day smoking roots

That’s why I think it should be set in like the 60’s or hell even the 50’s. We’ve done the “he’s a relic” angle so much with the last two Bonds. Let’s go back to basics and have him actually fit in the world he operates in. And yeah I’m totally down for him smoking. It’s very cinematic lol.

Last 3* i think the main thing is for him to actually have him go on a proper mission for once. I think they can change up the relic angle by him going against the grain of woke culture and standing out but the writing would have to be top notch so for the most part I agree with you.
Another thing they need to add back to Bond is his indulgences not only his woman and his cigs but where is the damn food. I want Bond to be ordering the finest caviar next to his Bolinger 95 on a yacht on the Nile listening to Drakes new album. Also guy needs some crypto stock.
Bond reloading while walking through the forest with the shots going by might be my favorite shot of the movie
RIP
What? Damn.
The way that s*** hits at the end of Casino Royal is my favorite
In before Eddie Redmayne is a front runner
Watching Spectre.
Mr. White is such a good actor.
I think this might be my fave out of all of them tbh.
Only seen No Time to Die once so imma give it another go later.
hypebeast.com/2022/12/aaron-taylor-johnson-reportedly-chosen-as-next-james-bond think this could work tbh thoughts?
