Fair enough from Russia with love was always one of my favorite stories (including the book) but I get why it my not resonate with people perhaps a remake in the distant future might do it justice for future generations

Felt too much like Dark knight I love the villain but I never really get my bond moments I want that I get in the others but its very close with Spectre for me. Both of the third acts let them down

Casino Royale has INSANE rewatch value. I prefer watching that in full.
When it comes to skyfall il definitely watch the first thirty minutes. Honestly everything past the high rise neon fight is hit or miss

Exactly Daniels very good in it and I love the villain they just made him too ridiculous when he could have just been an Alec Trevalyn figure

There are things that skyfall does wonderfully and no one is topping Javier any time soon. But because of skyfalls weaker 3rd act I gotta give it to no time to die. It hits the Beats pretty wonderfully.
This felt like the most traditional "James Bond" movie featuring Daniel Craig.
Overall his run will probably go down as the best (or second best for all the Connery fans). He's 3 out of 5 on these films. Specter and quantum being the weakest yet having the most lore.
couldn't agree more. felt this way after watching No Time To Die.

Rami's character was underwhelming but I loved every other one.

FellaCan’t believe just how furious Bond fans are about the ending to this. I literally left with me and my family in tears. It was emotionally powerful and it absolutely earned that ending.

I watched a stream of like four huge Bond fans discussing the movie that all have their own YouTube channels talking about Bond all day and they all said it didn’t emotionally affect them. Their argument was that it’s like sacrilege, you can’t kill Bond. Only one of them said it made sense for the Craig version of Bond but still said it shouldn’t be done. It’s like a little boys mentality “you can’t kill my favorite superhero” lmao.

Being a Bond myself whose seen the movies probably as much as these guys I get what they are saying but agree with you they are having a bit of a last Jedi fan reaction to it when most of the negative emphasis should be on the terrible usage of the main villain (should of just been Blofeld) and his wonderful looking underused lair (terrible garden of death tribute). Perfectly fine with Bond dying and even though I had some sleepless nights after initialy seeing it I believe it’s more down to the last third not being as perfect as I wanted it to be. (Would have been cool to leave it open for a man with the golden gun type of storyline for the new bond though)

All I want for the new bond is Christopher Nolan to direct (or Martin Campbell), Mike Giacchino on the score, Anthony Hopkins to be the new M, and Bond to be an unknown actor who wears Saville Row suits (enough of the Tom Ford)

At first I was like wtf when ppl said they didn’t want Bond to die but after listening to their reasoning I really do get it especially since Bond movies are like vacations to me
But I think it makes perfect sense for the Daniel Craig era
Hope they go back to fun next Bond movie though

Nah he would take the franchise to the next level in my opinion which is hard to do following Craig. The bond finally got an exceptional actor that helped the franchise now it needs a director cut from the same cloth in an era that puts more emphasis on directors over actors.

Would love this need a 60’s/50’s era bond based on the literary flemings bond maybe start by seeing him in the navy during the war.
