Gave it a spin today at the gym.
I was obviously in the wrong environment, but I liked what I heard.
My fav from him is still “Friends who..” but I will be returning to this.
“ I had a dream” is still my fave.
I might sound like an a****** but it's my very own opinion
unfortunately for me, his music started to decline ever since he got a girlfriend
I will always respect his older work and trippy voice loops and drums, but this indie-balad sad singing s*** is just not for me, not even the 'trappish' sound he experimented on for a while, very few exceptions like 'if the car besides you moves ahead' and some tracks from the robots album, this one and the self titled are the only albums I own from him, and I'm so grateful he decided to include his CMYK work as an extra EP in the robots vinyl.
At what album did he get a girlfriend?
Title track hook is great, love the melody
First 5 tracks are straight fire. This that real blue eyed soul. We not jacking that Jackman s***
Days Go By is great in its own way but it's not this grammy winning single by other UK white guys
