I could do this with a couple people ik and theyd appreciate it
I mean I could too with the people I know that are heavy into music and production but most people barely know s*** about music lol
Okay that first song by Toro is super dope. Does he have a project or more songs in that vein? I like that one a lot & it's more interesting imo. The way he manipulates his vocals to be kinda like another instrument with the beat & the beat is super hard too. Would love more stuff like that.
Here's a bit of all sides of james', I know it's a handful lmao but I couldn't fullt decide between them so decided to do a few for each category
I hope u find something u like from it tho

Nah I never did. I wasn’t the one setting up that interview. It was thru somebody else so it’s really on them. Hopefully I can orchestrate that in 2020 tho
maybe im just too much of a s/t fan, but what if you were able to set up a 10 yr anniversary talk with him for that album in 2021? maybe talk about the process or how it influenced music after etc.
Thxs for the tracks I'll check these out hopefully today looks to be a busy day unfortunately lol

BMB Loko Los textures are fire.
Been super obsessed with the texture on planet caravan too.
D'Angelo Swing definitely one of the best when it comes to that.
Ok producers , lets talk about HOW u create texture. I want to learn.
equalizing is so simple but ive been paying special attention to it recently, really heavy compression does something nice too.

Texture is the best part of music for me. It's why certain a***og synths like a mini moog or prophet 5 or 6 sound so f***ing beautiful to me
James Blake is definitely amazing with textures. I just want to know how he makes them
