XTALlike fabiana been signed since 2015 and she’s only released 4 songs (and they’re all generally the same sound so in 8 years there’s been no stylistic difference and no album to show for)
It really does reinforce this idea that this is all just a hobby for them.

There was such a crazy variety of sounds used on Bait Ones along with samples compared to now
Maybe they’ll return to that sound but I don’t hate this new sound

I think they were going for something they just couldn't deliver on with this one. Leaning this far into the 80s/Prince sound without any kind of pizzazz gives it a karaoke effect.

I think it’s really good
It’s not as good as the last two Jai songs for sure but I really like it a lot I think the production is really pretty
And Jai’s verse is pretty beautiful
I don’t love the chorus/panning tho maybe it’ll grow on me
But I like it a lot
