i’m just numbing myself to the wait at this point - him doing those shows felt like an important step in a return to music but he moves very very slowly and i’m not gonna hype myself on anything coming in the short-medium term. if it does great but if it doesn’t i’m content knowing he will almost definitely release some new music someday

honestly, the lyrics cemented a top spot for He once Jai shared them. it really elevated the song for me.

i know Jai loves himself a good song dedicated to some random chick (or just love songs in general) but tracks like desert river and He are what I'd like more of. I feel like a finished desert river would have just as imaginative lyrics as He. at least in the beginning instead of the repeated verse.
