We are truly in the best Jai timeline right now like we are so blessed

All his unfinished album leaked in 2013 and he got pretty significant mental trauma from it and withdrew from music for about 5 years (maybe did a little ghost production here and there). Only started coming back to music with a couple new songs in 2019 and then nothing again for 4 more years

Think he’s a shy dude who had enormous expectations placed on him (he was being called generational, the next Prince, future of pop music etc. when he only had two songs out). Obviously he’s decided to return to music in a real capacity and this was his way of starting that
