i wouldn't believe he's done nothing all these years aside from the obvious releases. perhaps he works on stuff outside of music. he did go study fine arts after all.
when annie mac interviewed Anup before the PI summer drop she said she was interested in his family. idk if she just meant Jai but their dad also worked on Cheers Mate so they do have a musical upbringing too. who knows how deep/far it goes

They could be living with family and getting some salary from whatever projects they're working on via government.

for the longest time I thought the benefit of rich parents was that you can network from their connections and create opportunities that way but no for a lot of people they're literally paying their bills lmao
