I think I’ve become fascinated with 07-13 era Jai. The fact this dude was gonna have a debut album or 2-3 year old songs...but then again he was working on He and DYLHN when the leak happened so would he have re-recorded vocals for everything?? Cause I went through the KTT1 thread and they were speculating he was gearing for a 2014 debut. But just the fact that his voice changed so much in those six years is crazy.

I'm still listening to jasmine like it just came out yesterday. The outro singing on the new vinyl got my ears dripping wet

has anyone in the US gotten their vinyl yet?

Received mine yesterday but only realized today.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the packaging. It’s top-notch and the detail is impeccable.

The spot-gloss with the embossed X (front) and L (back), the debossed matte art cover and font/XL logo on the back, the metallic ink centre-label and the colored vinyl itself.

After taking it out of the sleeve a couple times I realized I forgot about the Jasmine scent! The vinyl itself is not scented, but the centre label actually does contain a strong smell of Jasmine on my copy.

My only complaints with this release that don’t really bother me much but are worth mentioning is a) I wish Jai would use bigger vinyl sleeves (like the ones he used for BTSTU) but I can see the decision in design for the vinyl to have a solid fit in the sleeve naked (might be able to use a MoFi inner-sleeve in there, I will test it out at some point) and b) the absence of the poster (I expect this to be addressed at some point though I’ve seen some report it’s been shipped separate from the vinyl.

I’m hoping that with the possible digital release of the edit he’ll address the issue of the missing poster.

Other than that, this ends my short review of the Jasmine S.E vinyl. Expect that high quality rip at some point soon, again depending on whether Jai releases it in the interim.
