People from the middle class can make it in Hip-Hop, and their success is partially legitimate, but not the same as the success of someone who's clawed their way out of Hell.

I already said I want more options for them outside rap. But I've had friends who've basically f***ed up their lives, felonies, face tattoos, kids out of wedlock, they've been trying to break through for years and it does make me feel some type of way to see them not eat while others do. I know it's their dream and they don't want to do anything else at the moment.
Maybe they'll move on and find another way in life, I hope they figure some s*** out. There's definitely more options, but the playing field will still be uneven in other places, and people are blind.

i literally work for a marketing agency and I have coworkers with face tats, felonies, and one had a kid at 17 as a single mother.
not all workplaces are progressive but there’s always options for everyone.
