Jack and Cordae are in the same category for me: generic rappers without any sauce to their artistry. Just a whole lotta "Meh" when I hear their music. They're not trash, just uninteresting.

I'm glad he found the 88keys/Kanye lost tapes beats from 2005 lol, it made this album digestible. But I'm probably not going back this album.

That Gang Gang Gang hook following each verse is actually the problem not the execution of the verses. It should’ve either not been the hook at all or he should’ve gone harder with communicating he was being facetious by saying he’ll stick by his gang

Cause 2+2=4 and when it sounds like you’re earnestly saying gang gang following talking about said gang’s heinous crimes…it sounds like you’re excusing their heinous crimes

I think he was being facetious and not earnest but he should’ve communicated that more effectively

I think that was the whole point. Theres a lot of people who stick by their friends even if they commit such crimes cause theyre brothers from way back and thats kinda whats expected in a way. But then on the last verse he completely distances himself from those guys

Ay Jack did his thing here cant lie. I dont wanna hate on dude anymore I just think EST deserve more credit on here. Geeski has one of the best come up stories in the rap game.

I would add Polo G and Keem to that list. All seem to have a lot of potential but haven't managed to think out the box yet. This new gen can't make any superstars
