Actually feel like he toned down the drake impersonation on this one tbh
Agreed
Only track I really got Drake vibes from was on the last one. The rest reminds me more of Cole.

And upped the kanye and Mac impression

same
Lmao that’s what I’m wondering. Is he sad he can’t be friends with rapists and pedophiles anymore? I thought the message was going to be like how as a man you shouldn’t enable that s*** from your friends but that ain’t what it sounds like. It almost sounds like he’s making himself the victim
you're making it sound like he's condoning the s*** he's talking about lmao
nothing in the song alludes to the fact that he's upset about anything, moreso he's just rapping from the perspective of someone who was friends with someone who turns out to be a rapist or a pedophile and how you just have to make those people disappear from your life completely.
Truthfully it's family 'til it can't be, gang til it ain't
Twins, but it depends, brothers until somethin' is uncovered
Dawgs until the lifting of the fog
I always got you turns into well, I never thought you
Years of camaraderie suddenly disappear
Almost like you never were here
Unconditional love becomes very conditioned when push comes to shove
And all that talk of taking bullets suddenly feels foolish
Pictures with him turn to ad campaigns, you gotta pull it
Feet held to the fire
We hold accountable the ones we hold dear out of morals, but mainly fear
The choice becomes clear
And years of camaraderie suddenly disappear
Almost like you never were here
that's literally what he said?
"out of morals but mainly fear" lmao
So saying he's holding his friends accountable out of morals to you means he would let it slide if he didn't have anything to lose. The mainly fear part sounds wrong sure but it's unfair to flip it around like that
they don't love it sounds like a j cole gem from born sinner era
Another heater from Jack
2/2 so far
the end tripped me out lmaoo
he basically said "i really would stand by my pedophile serial rapist friends if i wasn't famous but i'm afraid to get cancelled so i gotta stop f***ing with them" ???
Told y’all he’s gonna start going down the far right pipeline but y’all called me crazy

Aegis avi awesome
Next album gonna be the most important for Jack and his discography.
Cuz this album could easily be perceived as a fluke if the next one fails. But if he can hone on the quality of this one and expand on it a bit musically, he will be here to stay and the haters will be completely silenced.
I’ll be interested to see how black twitter responds to this, with the odd mixture of Common Ground and It Can’t Be
WILL JACKMAN BE INVITED TO THE COOKOUT!?!?!?!
Actually feel like he toned down the drake impersonation on this one tbh
Also he’s not rapping like a vet 15 years in the game anymore that was annoying af on the last one LMAO
The longest song here is easily my least fave. he does well on short 1 verse rap tracks
im sick i didnt think a harlow album would be one of my favs in a given year esp off first listen

You don’t see how making a song about rapists and pedophiles and centering it around how it sucks you have to stop being friends with those people is tone deaf and weird?
