Small Pond TheoryWith labels, and even the artists themselves, it’s about optics to an extent. He’s successful, and out the mud forever, but he has a goal to be a respected and hailed figure in hip hop and the optics on social media and such say otherwise and really nowadays that’s what matters to your image.
I’m sure that man knows he was the heartthrob at one point and could easily just have fallen into the fast food music easy hits, and he doesn’t want to.
That’s what makes this release more compelling than the average. You can expect each such song of this album to be quality and cohesive to the actual project. It’s not that complicated. Dude wants that recognition and is going that route
