It’s kinda beautiful how Cole accepts his decline on Lonely at the Top. That vulnerability is what I love, and kind of what I wanted to hear from Drake as well post battle. Lonely at the Top kind of comes off like:

“I’m still elite at this s***, but I understand that my time is running out in this game. I am near the end, and it’s a cycle every rapper goes through. And I’m okay with it. I had my run.”

Honestly it’s right on the money this is not a casual rap album this is the equivalent of a modern Nas album, this for hip-hop fans

The Fall Off for me is like an album I can run around in, don't care if it gets dirty. It fulfills its purpose by getting me from point A to point B
but something like Mr Morale for me is something I only wear on special occasions or outings, not trying to get them scuffed nor wear them out too much.

I don't want to play songs like Count Me Out to the ground because I love that song and don't want it to just sound like any other song to me, so I listen to it sparringly--which is a problem I had with Damn where I ran that s*** into the ground and a lot of the songs started to not hit the same like DNA

Could’ve been a 9.5/10 if he kept Clouds in the tuck and put that on Disc one instead of Legacy and maybe kept Pi in the stash and put it on Disc 2 instead of Only one
